Counterpoint Integrations
Add-ons that extend your Counterpoint system. Add these business tools to streamline and connect business lines, add flexibility, and add intelligence.
CIMARA Mobile POS for Counterpoint is part of the CIMARA retail platform for travel, tourism, and destination businesses, by Frontier Retail, Inc. It adds mobile selling to the NCR Counterpoint system you already run. Staff carry CIMARA POS to the dock, the trailhead, the barn, the event lawn, or the line at the door, on most Android and Windows handhelds, phones, and tablets. The Android app comes set up on the devices we supply. Card payments run through Fiserv, including chip and tap, and receipts print or send from the device. CIMARA POS keeps selling offline, and the license has a 30-day offline grace period. CIMARA POS works with both Counterpoint and CIMARA Core.
Retail on this visit
CIMARA POS is part of CIMARA Core. On an Android phone or tablet, staff add the hat, the snack, or the souvenir to the rental and sell that mix at one package price.
At the dock, a kayak with a snack. At the lot, a cart with sunscreen and a hat. The same package the desktop lane rings.
One guest record
One system manages every transaction — retail, food, tickets, rentals, and loyalty — on one guest record. A single system is the point.
Loyalty and member discounts are available today. Season passes are coming soon.
A comprehensive membership system is coming soon. Membership discounts by member are honored today at sales points.
Counterpoint
NCR Counterpoint stays the system of record. Each CIMARA POS handheld, phone, or tablet posts the completed sale as its own Counterpoint store and station, so every mobile device stays distinct in the company file you already keep.
Items, prices, promotions, customers, and loyalty come from that file, and the sale goes back to it. Counterpoint stays the back office.
A countertop CIMARA POS station is also available as an option.
Payments by Fiserv in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
