CIMARA SCO is part of the CIMARA retail platform for travel, tourism, and destination businesses, by Frontier Retail, Inc. CIMARA SCO (Self-Checkout/Kiosk) is the lane for the gift shop and snack bar rush, attended or unattended.
Pricing, promotions, loyalty rewards, and membership discounts apply at the lane, the same member pricing and loyalty as the counter. CIMARA SCO is live. It works with CIMARA Core and with NCR Counterpoint. CIMARA SCO is not offered on Apple. Apple support is coming soon.

One guest record
Membership and loyalty
One system manages every transaction — retail, food, tickets, rentals, and loyalty — on one guest record. A single system is the point.
Loyalty and member discounts are available today. Season passes are coming soon.

The lane
One lane for the gift shop and snack bar rush
Guests scan and pay at the lane, attended or unattended. Pricing, promotions, loyalty rewards, and membership discounts apply at the lane, the same member pricing and loyalty as the counter. The lane is licensed per device. CIMARA Essentials stays with CIMARA Core.

Attendant station
One person watches and runs several lanes from a tablet, a phone, or a desktop. The station takes overrides and opens the lane camera so staff can help without walking over.

Lane boards and hardware health
Live boards show how the lanes are doing: transaction volume, the kind of intervention, and how fast an attendant answers, for one shop or across the group.
Hardware health is watched remotely: processor load, restarts, and whether the lane is online, with diagnostics, software updates, backups, and tuning from that same view.
Scan & Go, cash, and your brand
Scan and Go needs no app. A QR code turns the shopper’s phone into the scanner. The shopper bags along the way and pays at the lane. The built-in scale and weight check still runs on that lane.
Cash is supported, with coins and notes. The lane can run in more than one language, and the screen can carry the shop’s branding.
CIMARA SCO for Counterpoint
Self-checkout for stores running NCR Counterpoint
CIMARA SCO for Counterpoint is the same CIMARA SCO lane for a store that keeps NCR Counterpoint as its system of record. Items, prices, promotions, customers, and loyalty come from the Counterpoint company file, and each completed sale posts back to it. Nothing moves to a new back office.
CIMARA SCO is live. It works with CIMARA Core and with NCR Counterpoint. Pricing, promotions, loyalty rewards, and membership discounts apply at the lane, the same member pricing and loyalty as the counter.
The lane is licensed per device. CIMARA Essentials stays with CIMARA Core. We diagnose remotely and ship replacement hardware from a reliable supply chain.
