What is CIMARA?
CIMARA is the retail-first platform for the tourism economy. Merchandise, sundries, and food come first. Rentals, ticketing, and reservations are on the same checkout. CIMARA Core is the counter, CIMARA SCO (Self-Checkout/Kiosk) is self-checkout, and CIMARA Ask AI is the management view.
What kinds of venues use CIMARA?
CIMARA is for parks, state cultural venues, zoos, aquariums, museums, campgrounds, golf, tours, outfitters, marinas, fixed-base operators, ski and board rentals, recreational rentals (bicycle, e-bike, ATV, snowmobile, kayak, and boat), and destination retail. We serve tourism businesses in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
How is CIMARA different from other retail systems?
CIMARA starts at the register. Gift shop, sundries, and food are the sale. Rentals are included on that same checkout when the visit has them. It is a retail system that also rents, not a rental desk with a register added later.
Do you support coastal tourism businesses, including hurricane disaster recovery?
Yes. Frontier Retail, Inc. lives and works in coastal Carolina. We specialize in tourism-based businesses along the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic coast. We diagnose remotely and ship replacement hardware, so a store is back up without waiting for a technician. Wireless setups mean little local work.
